Naming the Future Youth Building

What are your thoughts?  Our church recently voted (unanimously) to begin building an additional building on our property for teenagers to use for their meetings.  It makes sense.  On any given Sunday teens represent about 25% of the crowd.  Will they now give enough to fund over 25% of the building?  I think they will.  I've seen them drop $20 at a gas station for energy drinks and candy.  I've seen them drop $20 for a shirt or cd or hat or beanie at a concert.  I've seen the collections of $50 video games in their rooms.  I see their AE, A&F, and Aero clothes every week.  "Maybe they are not spending their money!" a parent may exclaim.  Touché, putty tat.  Imagine if those teens begged their parents to let them invest in a worship center for teens.  Imagine if teens acted more like the grown ups they wish were their examples.  Imagine no more.  I think the teens of our church could build this thing beyond 25% of the way, if they want it.  By the way, if you have already given to the building fund, please e-mail Craig to let him know what you think of the proposed building title of "Stevo Worship Center."  Put Stevo's last name into your subject line (or risk deletion).  I miss Steve.  What would he do to name a building after you?  Probably anything asked of him.

As of May 1st we have $52,000!!! Please give so we can build this thing.

Make checks payable to "Temple Baptist" and mail to 2918 W. Randolph Enid, OK  73703.  Write "Youth Building" in the memo line.

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed - you are appreciated.

Verse of The Day
“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
